Overview

The HCPL-0600 is a high-speed, high-current gate drive optocoupler that is designed for high-reliability applications. It contains a GaAsP LED, which is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This optocoupler is suitable for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs, and it is also applicable for AC or DC motor control.
